We’re delighted to announce that RADICAL has joined a portfolio of other research projects dedicated to improving environmental monitoring and intelligence.
Back in April 2021, the RADICAL coordinator and RADICAL project manager took part in a FET Briefing ‘Research Meets Industry’ event. This matchmaking event focused on materials for energy and the environment, and sought to connect business stakeholders and researchers.
Justin Holmes, the RADICAL coordinator, presented a short talk on RADICAL and received good questions from several researchers and industry representatives.
As a follow-up from the FET Briefing event, RADICAL met several times with EIC Programme Managers Francesco Matteucci and Antonio Marco Pantaleo, who support a range of EU-funded green-tech research projects.
This included a consortium-wide meeting where Francesco and Marco introduced the EIC Portfolio on Environmental Intelligence projects.
The EIC Portfolio on Environmental Intelligence includes five Horizon 2020 FET Proactive projects:
In June 2021, RADICAL was formally accepted into this portfolio of five other research projects, and the consortium looks forward to joining this group at the next meeting towards the end of 2021.
